More than 6,000 U.S. military personnel have been killed since 9/11 and tens of thousands have been wounded. After over a decade, its hard to remember that we’re still at war.
While we should pay tribute to those that serve every day, especially the wounded and fallen, Memorial Day is one time we should definitely stop to reflect.
There are more stories of heroism and sacrifice than can ever be told or recorded, but browsing through a list of Medal of Honor recipients gives us an idea of what so many men have done for each other and their nation, often as their final act.
