Many men dream of traveling the world while seducing beautiful and exotic women, but few men ever embark on more than a cookie cutter vacation. Tom Torero has not only explored more of the planet than 99% of us, but he’s met and seduced dozens of women from virtually every corner of the globe, often on their own home turf in a matter of weeks, days or hours.
Torero Travels is Tom Torero’s travel and seduction memoir, focusing on his international jaunts in 2012-2013 as a day game coach and budding Casanova. I reviewed Tom’s previous book, Daygame, which focused on his transformation from a shy and insecure adolescent to a confident and charismatic seducer. This volume shows a more mature man who’s pushing his comfort zone to the limit, exploring the remote reaches of Canada, enjoying the rustic beauty of the Baltics and trekking as far as Australia, with many stops in between.
Travel is the ultimate form of freedom and the world that we live in offers us the ability to explore it through means that Marco Polo and Christopher Columbus could never have imagined. Tom’s talent for painting vivd imagery with his words is enjoyable to read and his work stands out even more because of the many tales of romance and seduction which color the pages of his journey. More than just a raunchy retelling of his conquests, the book is Tom’s reflection on making the very most of our time on earth by “licking the lid of life”.

Torero Travels also offers readers a general guide to “unplugging from the matrix”, basically rejecting the social conditioning that expects us to work a steady job, get married, have kids, have a mortgage and consume material goods until a far off “retirement”. Tom calls on readers to choose their own path and not squander the youthful energy that makes novel experiences possible and all the more exciting. He also offers his advice on travel logistics, game in foreign countries and misconceptions men may have about the ease of bedding exotic beauties (it’s hard).
Tom doesn’t pretend that travel and carnal pleasures will answer the existential questions that have tormented mankind forever, but the freedom that exploration offers is itself meaningful as a way to learn about ourselves, our desires and the outer limits of what we can achieve.
Torero Travels isn’t a detailed, lifestyle guide (there are all kinds of books and products that address those issues) but it serves as a fantastic case study of one, modern man’s life and an inspiration for others to learn from. Not everyone is cut out for the rigors and emotional peaks and valleys that Tom describes, but his journey is but one example.
I’m currently living in Warsaw, Poland, taking the steps to blaze my own trail, but I know that what I’m doing would have been unlikely without the inspiration of guys like Tom Torero (Roosh, Krauser, Mike, etc.). While I don’t see myself becoming a world-class seducer, I recently visited Bucharest, Romania, where I met and romanced a cute, local girl, all in less than 48 hours. With patience and persistence, amazing things are possible.
Torero Travels is available as a paperback through Lulu.com. For the sake of expats and travelers I hope than an ebook comes out before long, though I understand that piracy is an issue. I had no trouble ordering the book and having it shipped to me in Poland (from Lulu’s division in France).
Don’t hesitate on this one, take a trip with Tom Torero.
